Keyless Entry

Did every sho have keyless entry??? Or was it an option from the factory...?

No, not all SHOs got keyless entry. My friends 90 did not and Rendyx's 89 didnt. not sure about gen IIs or IIIs. Mine came with it.

Well I'm wondering because MY 95 sho didnt come with a remote..So I'm wondering if it didnt come with it, or they just lost um or what.. My friends broke so he doesnt use it, maybe thats what happened to mine :S

Do you know if I can buy some remotes off of EBAY and make them work?

Your car probably came with keyless entry. Do you have a keypad on your door? One way to tell is to look in your trunk on the back seat, there you will find the reciever for keyless entry. There is a way to reprogram either the remote or the reciever, so the ebay ones will work.

I dont have a keypad on my door, but neither does my friend? But he has an aftermarket alarm installed.


where is this black box thingy that I can look for?

how do u reprogram the keyless entry i bought my car off of some weird kid who coundnt remember it i need to figure this out tooo

the code is on the module in the trunk, behind the cardboard cover left side. search showtimes if you want to get detials on changing to code.

SHOtimes also has a How-To to permanently change your keyless entry code if you're handy with a soldering iron.

The code is also on a small sticker on the inside of the trunk lid...
