Ok, I am trying to find out my keyless entry code on my new 93' SHO ATX. I took out the black mudule from back in the trunk and I didnt see any color coded resistors as shown here http://webpages.cwia.com/~bdklein/sho.htm

I didnt see any thing that looked like it may have been the code.

Can anyone help me out? Where is the code usually located (specifically)?

THANKS!

Your not looking for color coded resistors you have to look at where they are solderd into the board. The code in that pic looks like. 31936.

I don't know about the second gens, but in the first gens it has a little sticker on the underside of the trunk lid.

ok, i see no stickers in the trunk. Ill have to take the module out again and take a pick for you guys.

What I am saying is there are no resistors (color coded) that look like the ones up in the pic in the red square. Rather, ALL the resistors in the module looke like the ones to the left of the box in the pic.

Look all over the place for the sticker, I have seen them on the edge of the lid, on the hinge arms, on the underside near the hinge mounts, etc. Also on my '90 there is one stuck on the ECU (engine computer). Drop the glove box down and look there. There is also a plastic card in the owners manual case that has it printed on it.

I've got two Gen II's and they both have stickers in the trunk. The 93 is on the inside of the trunk lid itself, and the 95 is on a black box behind the cardboard which covers the electronics at the back seat area. The are white with black printing.
If it's not there it's been removed.
Good Luck
