Working on a custom keyless for the car that will get the doors to pop open. The doors/trunk/antenna...EXT Now i want to shave the keyless also and move it to the pillars like the newer fords.. Does any one know if the wires are the same so all i have to do is splice the wires?

Pat, why wouldnt you just take the one you have, lengthen the wires, take the pillar cover off, and cut the space in the pillar?

so you want to do all that work just to have the numbers vertically instead of horizontally....

dont get me wrong, it would look really nice, and be different. its just not my cup of tea.. pulling the old (working) one out, just to have them vertical. i mean, the other extra stuff would be cool, but still...

either way...good luck with it ... :thumb:

The door pillars aren't hollow, so the electronics & wires would be seen when the door is open. Also if you've ever taken a keypad apart, you'd know that its about an INCH!! thick.

I'd just leave the keypad on the door...
