Keep getting p0302 code

I may switch to unleashed. I think they have a tune for atp

Anyone will develop for the ATPs, I believe Livernois can easily adjust. Perhaps they were thinking of top end power with the turbos. I would chat with them again.

We dissected engine and it is not repairable. Had that overboost code when it happened and piston skirt broke off and is missing where gash is in cylinder wall. Didnt find piece. Overboost and high miles on oil didnt help. Hopefully that was the cause and not something smaller. Pressure testing the heads to see if they are alright and if they are im keeping as paper weights for now. Exhaust valve was bent but getting a new valve installed then pressure tested. The other head “looks” fine

Contacted ford about carfax on it because it was a leased car and only shows one oil change for 40k miles until i bought it. They said it was only ever serviced at dealer and who knows if person who leased it took care of it. From the pictures on sync in car of the previous leasee, dosnt look like a good person but i dont know them

Mos def. No more 150miles a day for work either. Same job just at my local facility. Maybe 6 miles daily for work haha. I just couldnt justify an oil change every other week when traveling to dc area

I do feel your pain. I get to spend $4900 today and get my baby back. I had to have the trans replaced.

I am moving closing to work as well. Like 3 miles. However in the next 6 months I am going to drop my VW 1.8T GTI for a Focus ST as a daily beater.

The SHO will be regulated to...well upgrades, track sessions, and general abuse. LOL.

Yea i dont know what im going to do. I see camaro zl1s are way down in value now. Seen a couple, low miles. 31-38k 2015 or so. Maybe 13. I may pounce on one of them but that engine and tranny has lots of heat power loss. My buddy strictly dynos and races chevy. In manchester maryland. Has like a 9 second chevy ss with lsx

Jeez i tell ya. Differnet stories all the time. Got the right one this time straight from mechanic. Went over today to see owner to get the paper work for my car. Warrenty info. Brand new engine from ford. I believe 5 year warrenty not sure on miles. Got info on the old engine and got pictures from bore scope

Just that cylinder. Other 5 look good. Mechanic thinks it was caused by incorrect timing and knocking. Or too lean. But it never threw a code for any of that when i started having problems. Told him about the oil thing with 10k mile changes and he says it didnt help it but it wasnt the cause

Livernois 93 3 bar, cant remember what version. Latest i believe, id have to look at my tuner. I ordered atp turbos, and i will work with AJP. I talked with livernois again and they wont do any tune on the atp upgrades. Short call. All i needed to know. Ordering parts for a custom meth multiport injection also

Going to work with Brad? Nice! Your car will be 100% better with the upgrades and with Brad's tunes.

Why the multiport meth? Have you seen the new intercooler that Matt from Gearhead just released? I personally would want the upgraded IC for the Turbos before the meth.

A tune with data log is better and safer. Person tuning it can see how the engine is reacting. Ford sent a replacement engine to place i had engine done and i got a big discount on it. Ford had in their system that my sho was sent out to auction for engine problems after the 40k mile lease was up. Then i bought it for 12k or something i beleive. I dont remember if i said it pages ago or not. Ran good. Had a little miss now and then but no codes, livernois tune and me driving it probly pushed the last of its life from the engine. 71k. It blew. Both turbos have lots of play in them. Car has new engine and is sitting in my garage. Only 30 miles on new engine. Not risking the turbos damaging engine, thats why i ordered atp upgrades

Ive been looking for an upgraded IC for months!! Show me. Thats was high on my list but i figured no one made one. Intercoolers literally can make alot of power and mpg if they are designed right

Dons performance center in harrisburg pa tunes for cars and has a real good tuner. I had them look at my tune, they told me that the livernois tune in it compared to stock is a mess and they found out why my car always threw it self out of gear and would bounce off the limiter and not shift. Thats why they said it looks like a timing issue that blew the engine. But im not going to bash livernois, you got good tuners and bad tuners. Canned tune for every vehicle off the bat you should know which category they fall under.

I would only have Brad (AJP Turbo) or Matt from Gearhead tune my SHO.
