well I have a second interview with them it starts at 10 and is supposed to last 3-4 hours last one was 2 hours. I wish this would not be so Hard to do. I should not have used up my vacations days.

seemed even better than the first one and lasted about 4 hours with lunch. I hope it works out. The more I look at that area the more I want to live there.

Where did you interview at? I'd like to know who's hiring in Kzoo/Ptown. When I was home for holidays, the place seemed like a ghostown, vacant buildings, tons of homes for sale, empty office from Pfizer's downsizing last year. It's just a real sad site to see.

You dodged a bullet. Kzoo is an economic cess pool. Depressed housing market, failing job market, limp governing. Bout the only thing I like about it is the Air Zoo that is filled with cool planes.

I am one of the 1500 degreed professionals with 13 years experience at a fortune 500 company that was cut. It was one of the best things that ever happened to me.

True about the 'Zoo. Latest issue of MiBiz paper lists the following employer surveyed percentages for job growth for regions around West Mi.

Area % increase/% no change/% decrease

Grand Rapids................20/70/10
Battle Creek.................30/64/3
St Joe & Benton Harbor..23/33/7
VanBuren County..........20/26/17
The 'Zoo.......................0/90/10

They couldn't fine ONE company that forecast job growth in Kalamazoo for the first quarter. Not one. Thinkgs are looking so bright, I need to sell my shades...

well they didn't look hard enough the company i would for (landscape forms) is expanding operations this year and is hiring atleast 10 people its not much but its a growing company in kalamazoo.
