Hello I’m Jeremy and I’m from Houston. I just picked up a 2015 taurus SHO with 32k miles. I mistakenly posted a sort of intro thread in the performance section. Reason being is that I am already looking to make the car faster LOL. I previously owned a 2014 Taurus Limited. I absolutely love Taurus’s and picking up this SHO did not disappoint. I used to be a Chevy ONLY guy but I’ve lately become open minded and glad I have. Anyways it’s nice to be a part of a forum again as I used to frequent LS1tech and miss the forum browsing and discussions.
Here are some pics. I posted on other thread but I will add them here again.

I already commented on your other post but I did the same thing. Went swing from a a lesser model though- The SEL to the SHO. Such a fun car!

Yep. Very happy with the car so far. One major difference between the limited and SHO that I noticed is when I punch it in the SHO, my average MPG drops faster ! Limited - not so much LOL

It’s all in how you drive them. When you get a tuning device drive around and watch your boost. If you stay out of the boost you can still get 20+ mpg highway and 18+ “city” on a FBO car. I only know this by limping to and from the track with no fuel.

You can always straight pipe the muffler. That will teach you stay out of the boost when cruising around real quick. Then you hammer it people are like *** IS THAT?!!

haha. Yeah I got 25mpg on the way home from dealership on highway. It was about a 40 mile trip. And I stayed out of it. So I can definitely tell that when I’m being easy on it, it gets good mpg.
The car has a lot of low and mid range torque which I’m surprised by. I expected high rpm pulling. The power curve seems to flatten around 5k RPM.
