My '93 ATX has the electronic control A/C (with a bad motor resist) which I know is causing the radio problem. Radio comes on once in awhile for a short time then goes out. When it does come on, the volume level low for the actual setting.
All functions work, but no sound or static.

I plan on replacing the blower resist as soon as I can find one. Anyone know if this is related and will it start to work, or am I screwed with some other problem?

Thanks...I searched for this topic, but had no luck.

Would you believe that I pulled the amp fuse, put it right back in an "PRESTO!" Wonderful sound via the JBL system.

if you pulled the amp fuse and the sound is now "fine" then the issue could be the amp itself that was making the awful sound since that amp is no longer working without its fuse in.

Update. All the amps are powering fine. The little 5 amp fuse at the top of the panel # 13 has no power when I put a test light to it. Ignition on or off? Freaking me out.
