Jax get-together this Saturday, the 12th

Let's do a little get-together this Saturday, late afternoon or evening. Nick will be moving back up north on Monday, so I think it would be nice to see him off FSHOC style (maybe minus all the beer! lol). Anyone have any suggestions as to where? I was thinking maybe a casual dinner somewhere. Have you guys been to Bukkets at Jax Beach? It's pretty good. I might even bring out the flat black beast this time.

It's not going to be anything huge or anything. We just have a pretty high concentration of people in Jacksonville right now and some we haven't met yet, so we're just doing a little local get-together. If you could make it, that'd be awesome, but don't feel bad if you can't!

Let's do it around 9, because Nick's folks will be in town to help him move and he wants to have an earlier dinner with them that night. So we'll meet up in the parking lot across from the pavilion (corner of 1st Street and 2nd Ave) around 9. If you get there after like 9:15 you'll have to come in the restaurant and find us.

damn damn damn! I always miss the meetups

on a side note though, if any of you are off roaders

this weekend is the Okeechobee Mudfest... they have it twice a year, and its for lack of a better term F'n BADa$$

picture this........ hundreds of trucks... hundreds of 4 wheelers... hundreds of acres.... huge huge mucky mudhole.... THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE, hundreds of drunk girls in bikinis... and beer... did I say beer?

last time I had about 30 beers in me id say by around 4pm, i was so drunk I could barely cruise the 5 speed truck in an empty field.... now thats drunk! The best part is, being that drunk, shifting with one hand, beer in the other, and when you pass cops they just smile and wave or say nice truck... I wave back with the hand holding the beer..... its gonna be hot this time around though.....

I am so down for the next event though, and I might cruise up to JAX/Daytona next weekend if anyone along the route is interested in meeting up or going for a cruise let me know.........

Corner of 1st Street and 2nd Avenue, Jacksonville Beach. Easiest way is go straight down Beach Blvd. till you hit the ocean, turn left by the lifeguard station/Sneakers, and it's one block to your left.

WOW, that was a LOOOONG time ago. Us young folks weren't around much for that. It's changed a LOT down there, they've built a ton of hotels and condos in the past 2 years and it's getting more touristy.
