yeah my friend was just working on our other friends civic that was just turboed but wasnt boosting right well lets just say he got it to boost and apparently the owner of the car didnt fasten the vac line from the wastegate to the turbo correctly and yeah instead of dumping the unwanted boost it hit like 28psi and well it shattered all the sleaves and pistons, my friend was mad that it blew when he had it since he and i built the motor for that car and it was already a low 13 sec car without slicks but its an excuse to build a motor that will hold up to atleast 20lbs since it will prob see 15psi all day we just got done building the motor not to long ago either:cry: i guess it was really fast until it went SHOBOOM!!!!

the SHO is cursed. i swear.

then i thought i had it all set out. ran great no problems.

then someone slashes my tire. I found the tip of the blade in my wheel, he hit the rim

change it, thinking its all good then BAM!

someone smashes into it at a gas station.

:salute:

you poor thing... i feel bad for you!!!
hm... I KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE TO HAVE MY TIRES SLASHED!!!
only pathetic losers slash tires.
Its a power struggle, since they cant hurt they person enough, they have to take it out on an inanimate object that cant hurt back....

Not sure if this is what you are looking for but...

You don't need to remove the exhaust to get the axle shaft out of the car. The axles are not pressed in, in fact it is a slip fit. Just remove the lower ball joint bolt from the spindle, and the castle nut from the outer tie rod. Then seperate the tie rod from the spindle, and seperate the lower control arm from the spindle. You should be able move the strut and the spindle enough to slip the axle out of the spindle. At this point you can then gently pry the axle out of the carrier bearing.
Reverse the process to install new axle.

Good luck.

Thats how I did it. It's easier to take it off with the Y-pipe out of the way but then you have to take out the starter.....wasted time. But it isnt necessary to take the exhaust off :thumb:
