Intermittent ABS light

Ive never had a car with abs, and recently, after medium/short trips, my ABS light will go on... it turns off as soon as i turn off/restart my car... i just noticed it this weekend, im not sure, but it seems to do it when im turning, but that could just be something im imagining... is there a way to check ABS codes or do i have to have a tool for that?... where can i start?

Assuming you are talking about anti lock brakes.

Does the light flash when you first start the car?

yeah, anti lock-brakes... it does the light check, just like all the other warning lights, but then turns off, and sometimes comes back on if i drive about 25 miles or so... sometimes not at all

Relay mounted just behind the drivers side headlight to a bracket that strps across the top of the sheetmetal just after you open the hood. If its not there look around the ABS control module (thats were mine was just laying)
