Interior Mods

I have been searching for some Interior Mods. I spend 2.5-3 hours a day riding in my car and want to enjoy it. I have began to collect some items while the car is in the Body Shop. So far I have:
-Sync 3 Upgrade (Junkyard sourced for $250!)
-Speaker Upgrade (Infinity Kappa)
-LED Light Upgrade

I saw someone put a Mustang Shift **** from UPR in their car. I am hoping to find more tricks like this. Things people have adapted to fit, make the car more comfortable, aesthetically appealing, etc. I see we have an Exterior Mod category but was hoping some people could point out some Interior ideas. I get my car back on Thursday and have a decent pile of stuff to put on it and hope to document it all on here. THANKS!

I have the massaging seat option. Afraid combining the beads with the moving seat may result in a misplaced bead...

Just a few ideas..
Upgrade speakers or add a subwoofer, I think even with the 6x9's it lacks bass, I added a 12inch sub.
Window tints, even though it's really an exterior mod it can affect your drive especially on sunny days
Custom floor mats. IMO it's worth it to get a nice pair of husky or weather tech mats. I have the husky mats and they're super easy to clean.
I wrapped the silver on the steering wheel gloss black, I think it flows better with the rest of the black in the interior
Consider a dash cam if you drive that much every day
Air fresheners/car scents if you like them lol

Carbon fiber dash, steering wheel, radio and center console overlays. Vinyl everything chrome to some other color, paddle shifter extensions, ford logo on steering wheel decal, radar detector, gauges.

I got a pair of those ebay explorer paddle extensions. Actually look much better than I expected.

The OEM trunk organizer is a slick addition. Gives you a flat bottom trunk that's a perfect match with 2 storage compartments. Some pics in the link below. I found one at the local dealer that had sitting on the parts shelf new in box for a few years and he let me have it for $60. Random link below that has pics. (Pictures show 500, but 2010-19 Taurus are identical)

Edit for question below-the 2 curved pieces are velcro stick on golf bag holders that come with it. I gave mine to my to my brother.

Coming from a Saturn Vue that had a similar setup, I thought they all has that. Mine also has these curved plastic pieces. Not sure if they are to hold a flat tire or what???

Couple questions. What color is that? They show, Satin, Black and Black Satin. Would the rod be easily trimmed with a dremel? Was it a relatively easy install or did it require substantial contributions to the swear jar?

When I ordered it just had black as an option. No it wasn't to hard. Yes I just used my Dremel. Just do a list a time.

Take apart your center console and then remove the oem shifter, then you need to remove the black plastic piece that is glued to the leather shifter boot. Put new shifter through the shifter boot and use provided zip tie to hold the boot to shifter. Then screw the shifter into place using the 2 screws and put your center console back together and bam your all finished!
emove the OEM shifterou need to remove the plastic piece from the leather boot and attach your shifter to the boot with the zip tie provided.
