I am almost complete with my blue light interior. All lighting has been converted to blue LEDs. All courtesy lighting(except for the two overhead press on/off lights, glove box, and trunk, those are white LEDs), window/door switches are blue, all dash/switch lighting is blue also. What I am left with is the clock and EATC display being green. Are there any blue display units that will work in my 93? Anyone just swapped out the display itself with another one?

I would imagine you could put a film over the stock clock to make it blue. Get another one from the junkyard and take it apart.

The EATC, you may be able to wire in blue LEDs for the buttons, but the look won't be perfect.

For the EATC i am doing that exact thing but soldering. I am talking about the display itself, where all the numbers and settings are displayed. I'm not even sure if it is possible.

For the clock, no i don't think you can do that since the lcd itself is actually green and the stock filter is a smoke color meant to just dim the clock a little. What i'm looking for is if other people have found working replacements that are blue or at least aqua so i could try some filters to deepen the blue some.

You can make your own filters for the clock and the EATC displays. The only one that will tough to get right will be the EATC buttons. The teal blue/green filter is built into the buttons so you will have to put your led behind them and see what you get.

I guess i will have to play with filters and i know the eatc will be a different blue, so are the audio buttons on the dash vs. the r. def and fog lights switches but thats something to keep messing with as i go.

Post pics when complete. I think a blue LED interior would look awesome at night. :thumb:
