Minnesota is not a good place pick a more central location like Missouri, Illinois, Indiana so more people would attend Minnesota just way out of the way. My pick would be Nashville TN but thats close to me.

You obviously haven't been to a Convention. Half the fun is NOT having it in your backyeard.

Plus we have had it all over the Midwest, as well as the coasts. And we were just in Charlotte last summer.

There "is" a SHO meet near Nashville this weekend.

When I got to the Convention this year, I will have been to every one except the very first two. I'll go wherever they are.
