I am wondering how much interest there is for attending next summer's National SHO 2012 Convention in the Brainerd area of Minnesota, the third week in July?

Personally, I am very interested, but it's only 4 hrs or less away from Clear Lake.
Understand the plan is to be able to use both the Drag Strip, and Road Course for fees. :hail:

Can't wait to see how "FLEX-I-BLE" my Brick really is!!!!:woo-hoo::woo-hoo:

I only live about an hour south of there. I will be there! I just told my wife about the convention and she said "So, I guess you'll be going?"

It will be tons of fun meeting folks from the forum. Too bad I don't have my SHO anymore though.

I'm hoping to make it back for my 10th, especially after missing the last one, but it's just so darn close it's gonna be tough!

See the above posts as reasons for all the "Ole & Lena" jokes!!!! LOL

It's going to be tough for me... considering I have to drive "BACKWARDS" all the way from Albert Lea to Brainerd.... but I am definitely going to be there!

I may very well be living in Naples, FL by then, but I'll still make it. Unless I don't have any shoelaces, then I'm staying the **** home. Should we print up permissions slips for everyone's mommy to sign?

Yea Im going. I wonder what toy I should bring for this meet? :nut:
Yeah, umm, let's just say the convention is not the kind of place for that kinda thing. Definitely more of a BBQ thing. Just sayin.

A kevlar vest though, now THAT could be well worth bringing!

Has Porter checked into what ranges around there have for rentals? I'm thinking Howitzer...

#1. Wait till fall to move to Naples....:thankyou:

#2.. MN has open season on Jackalopes during July...:woo-hoo: I find my best hunting luck on snipe hunts after dark!:naughty::naughty: Double Barrel 10 Gauge Shotguns work best,,, especially against their kevlar vests!:nut:

#3.. Thinking about offering a free beer and a boat ride for anyone who wants to stop in Clear Lake, just off I-35!:angelnot:

Rumor has it that there is a 200 lb Muskie in Gull Lake...:dribble:
