Flow-wise, Paul's looks like the model to me:

but instead of just piping air to the stock air box with a better than stock filter -- remove the stock filter and mount a cone on the cut-off sax tube?

1) how long is that piece of straight pipe? and is it 3.5" dia?
2) does it just lie there loosely and hang into the fender-well or are there locatations along its length where it is/could be mounted to something?
