Anyone test an Intake Sensor Mod that fools the computer into thinking the air is cooler thus increasing performance?. Do you have any product recommendation or internet web page where it can be purchased? Can one be used with a superchip? Someone sells these on e-bay for $10.00 but I am hesitant to purchase because you get what you pay for.

not to razz you about this but.... $10 for a 99 cent resistor ! oive . i wouldn't bother with it as the amount of power gained ( IF any ) versus the potential damage wrought cancels any chance of using this mod on my sho . although others have shown " gains " on different vehicles , the ecu will more than likely edit any readings the resistor would change . my opinion though

I agree, don't even touch this mod. If you can call it that. Stay away like it is the Black Plauge. Any mod that tricks your ECM can not be good at all, pieriod, no matter what.

These cheap hp adders are never worth it. Watch out, if Ford could have put this in the SHO at the factory for so little, don't you think they would have done it? Stay away from them, it will hurt your mpg, engine life, and your car's reliability.

You could try fooling the fuel temp sender to say the fuel is hotter than it really is.......
