I got a new core support for my SHO but the junk yard just chopped it right out 1/2 way up the fender. The core support itself is tack welded in a bunch of places all over the place. How do I go about breaking these welds and installing this new core support? Thanks alot for any help you can give me. :D

Your best bet would be to have it changed at a body shop. They need to drill out the spot welds, clean up the area, clamp the new support in,and weld it back together. Also,it has to be completely lined up where it is supposed to be,or your front end pieces will not fit correctly.
This is what is going on with my project car...

How much did you pay for the core support? I bought a new one for my 95, for 89 bucks..... ITs easier than doing the junkyard gig,a nd then cutting/pasting it on.... Either way, you should have a bodyshop do it, its a lot easier, dont forget a 1/4" could make a huge difference in the fender lines, or marker light lines... GOOD LUCK!
