I have recently been thinking about "rebuilding" (refreshing would be a better term). The website http://injector-rehab.com/shop/Bosch-EV1-Rebuild-Kit.html sells a kit for the bosch EV1 injectors. Is it something worth doing just to freshen up the spray and such? Or is it a waste of time and money?
Also my injectors have never been out, or had an injector cleaner (scared of that sh*t) run through them at 160,*** miles on them.
Thanks, David.

If you need to have them done, pay for someone to do them.

Trying to change the pintle caps will drive you insane (you'll break at least half of them), plus the caps in that picture are wrong anyway.

If you're not showing any signs of clogged/dirty injectors, why fix something that isn't broken? Just pay a shop to do a BG injector service or run some Berryman's etc. in your tank.

ive redone a set on another car due to the caps breaking upon removal.

what style of caps would i need? iircm these are bosch injectors or are the denso's?

What would be a sign they are clogged or sticking other than trying to remove them?
