Infotainment went blank

Music stopped, no reverse camera. Turned car off and on, FORD comes across the screen as does SYNC but then nothing.

I did search for a thread on this nothing.

I know when you flash a tune it reboots the sync. Not sure if its from the kam reset, maybe there is a way to do the same reboot but to the sync without a tuner. Or just by doing the kam reset the old fashioned “correct” way.

Two ideas:

*disconnect the battery for an hour and see if that fixes it.
*pull the nav SD card out and do a reset. I had a bad SD card that killed voice and navigation controls.

I had something like this happen after about 10 mins the screen stayed black and all the images were a weird gray color, camera didn't work, radio wouldn't turn off even if you turned off the car and walked away it will still keep playing. Let it sit for the night came out and fired it up, all fixed like it never happened. Hasn't happened since.

It happens sometimes. In the system on the screen in the settings there is a factory reset. I would try that as well.
