info on cam welds

Seeing as how I just got a job at a local ford dealer and we have a few mig welders there I'm going to check with a few of the guys to see what they'd charge me and if they could do it for me. If not then ill be getting a small loan to take her to atl and get cought back up on some bills.
Also I filled the car back up with gas today just plain regular conaco I believe. was 3.45 a gallon strangely the car runs a lot better maybe I got some crappy gas. Changing the oil this week and see if that gets weird of that weird grainy pedal feel I get all the time.

I would like to have kirk do them or doug but money is a big issue here. I found some one interested in my area. My question is what type of metal are the sprockets and the camshaft.
