Increased Induction noise when really cold

This is mostly a question for our cold climate friends, but does anybody else notice significantly more induction noise from their SHO until the engine warms up when it is really cold out?

I got out of work today and it was below 0 F (it is currently -1F or just under -18 C) and I noticed my 2010 SHO had significantly more engine noise than usual, which I thought was a broken exhaust at first, but it wasn't harsh enough to be an exhaust leak. However, about 5-10 min into my drive the noise subsided to its regular Duratec growl. I don't think there is anything wrong just curious if anyone else noticed it.

I've noticed that in almost any car I have ever owned when the temps really drop

Ever notice how we can hear the difference between hot water and cold water coming from a tap? Kind of the same concept with air going into an engine. Induction noises are going to be noticeably different when the air is colder and more oxygen dense compared to a hot engine that will increase the intake temperatures just from heat soak. If it's only when it's cold that exactly what I would personally deduce it to.

Hmm, I've never noticed it in any other vehicle I've owned, I even took my truck to the grocery store last night (it was -5 F according to the truck's Ambient temp gauge) and it didn't sound any different.
