To all that care, I got home tonight about 1 am.

The new SHO ran flawlessly till I got back to Midway Airport in Chicago, IL to pick up my 97. I went to restart the 91 and it was making a horrible sound. Turned it off, but it was still running! :omg: So I killed it by stalling it in first, restarted it, and it was fine. Then within the last 30 minutes of my trip, a strut mount started knocking and the heater for the EATC was getting really loud every once in a while.

Stupid little stuff, easy fixes, I'm still happy! It was really depressing watching the temperature go down on the way home though.

Thanks again guys for checking out the car for me, having some dinner with me, etc. It was nice meeting you guys in person and I had alot of fun! :thumb:

Yes this would be number 9. I met up with Russell, Martin, Sergio and his wife, had a good time. We went to Sugarland for awhile, saw our old house too!

I did post in one of the how did you get your SHO threads last night. If you click my link on my signature it gives all the info anyhow. :thumb:

Yea so far its pretty fun for me....... its different everyday...... the gt has full exhaust and some simple bolt ons so it sounds ooo so nice..... i was just given yall a hard time since im labelled a lazy bumb

I will be working for the guy helping him out and all while ill be doing my own side stuff by getting them at the auctions for myself and keeping them till i get the title and then selling them........ also this will help keep miles off the sho and rx7 like that matters anyways.

Ya, glad you made it back and didn't break down on the way, I figgured most of the issues the car had was probably shock from being driven so far, not to mention leaving Texas (I mean, you saw the women here  )
I'm glad I met up with you, it gave me a good excuse to wash the SHO, and it'd been looking pretty nasty.

I think I'm going to sell all my worldly possessions and go work on an oil rig for the rest of my life. SHO won't do me much good on a rig.
