ignition stays on

well my car has been siting for 2 days i went to start it and the battery was dead no problem now i put the battery back in the car and the ignition is on and there no key in it the car wont start but i have full power.can someone please help me.

Did you look at the condition of your ignition switch?

no how hard would that be to change because the guy who had the car before me tried to roll back some miles and i think he messed some thing up in there.
