I actually went to see a tuxedo black '13 EB Flex, but could not test drive it because the back folding seat was out of it. I did test drive the SHO, and the rest is history. I'm not sure if the Flex had the Adaptive Cruise and Multi Contoured seats (massage - I would miss these options), but think it would have been cool to have the Flex instead of the SHO. As far as mods, I still have the ### tune (V11 updated to V17.) I would go with another vendor, but now I drive so little I can't justify the spend.

I wouldn't have installed the first 2 sub woofers and I'd have went straight to the final setup. And I'd have left a couple layers of fiberglass off of the box. But hey, if I get rear ended, maybe it'll protect me.

I've been pretty happy with most everything else I've done.

If I could start over, I'd have bought a 2013+ model, preferably PP. But I got a pretty good deal on my car and she's done everything I needed her to.

Well, I bought mine new in 2013 and if I knew then what i know now I could have waited and bought a used Pos and saved money since I freaking replaced EVERYTHING.... but that said, I love the platform and the people so I would not change it, still love this car. being one of people first to try making bigger power was also not as fun as it is for newer guys with more available, I did a lot of custom work but hey, i have a lot of custom work. a few more tweaks to this thing hopefully this off season for fueling issues and finish paint and that will be about it for by baby :)

Would have used 2.5" intercooler piping instead of 3" when building my front mount.
Would have chose a different color other than white when doing the split wrap.

Are you noticing a velocity decrease because of the larger diameter pipe?

What color would you choose besides white?

I mostly notice it does not launch hard like it did before. This may be good for my trans and such though haa.

I would have chose a color that is not stock choice. So many people now think I had a white car and only wrapped half.

I haven’t even owned mine long but if anything I would have looked longer for a PP sho. Mine is fine and only has 47k miles but there were red flags (repainted panels despite a clean car fax) and the dealer in Nebraska wouldn’t budge on the price. I presented my a-hole straight at them tho by driving all the way down there for it after a night shift. I’m sorry I hate dealers... not once have I had an experience where I didn’t feel at least 45% lied to or manipulated. Just like an honest lawyer doesn’t make as much money neither does an honest car dealer.

Yep. Had mine shipped from out of state and me and the dealer got into it pretty bad. His 100% like new condition was a lot different than mine. Ended pretty ugly between us. He's got a lot of bad (but 100% true) reviews from me on the interweb. At one point he literally held my title hostage and tried to blackmail me into taking down the reviews.

I would've taken a different route the day my brand new 5000 mile 2018 got totaled while sitting in a traffic jam. It had every option available with the PP package. I would have kept that car at least 50k miles. Now I gotta drive a dodge. What other choices are there for a 2 ton awd sedan that moves? Stingers, caddys, chargers, thats it.

Gotta keep the upper hand at all times with them. I bought my 2015 from a dealer 2.5 hours away. Negotiated out the door price over the phone before driving there, and told them to have all the paperwork ready and it couldn't take over 20 mins or I would walk. Got there inspected the car and test drove it, then paperwork took maybe 10 mins tops after that.

I actually enjoy shopping for cars now that I know you don't have to follow their rules. #1 buyer rule is you have to be able to walk out without the car.

Are they AWD now? My wife had one years ago. Think it was an ‘04. It was peppy but liked to just shut down while driving. Engine off, no dash, off off. Went ahead and got rid of that one.
The mazdaspeed version is AWD. And turbo.

The Mazdaspeed 6 was only built in 2006 and 2007. It would be hard to find one that still runs. I had a 2006. AWD and the turbo were great.

Hmm, I knew those were turbo but not AWD. Yeah hers wasn’t the speed 6, just the Reggie version. It was the touring package though with the larger wheels and whatever else. Didn’t have it long.

After my wife “borrowed” my brand new 2017 SHO and pulled out in front of somebody at a slow speed intersection, she became the owner of that car. I then bought a 2016 DSG Audi S4. Damn awesome car, more bulletproof than the Taurus, and its true AWD (not a Haldex setup). A few pulleys, a TB upgrade, and a tune and its running 11.8s in crappy air (1800ft DA). Its mind blowing using launch control, revving to 3200rpms, and just letting off the brake. Feels like you got hit from behind by a semi. Love that car... but still have and enjoy the SHO also.

There is a used car dealership selling a 2010 or so Audi s8. It has a NA V8, I think its 330 hp. I also heard those V8s are ticking time bombs.
