Have you had the battery disconnected lately?

If so, you may need to do an idle relearn. Search that and you will see how simple that is.

Some other things I would check are cleaning the mass airflow sensor. The heated wires inside tend to get nasty. You may also have a bad idle air control motor. That is the cylinder shaped part on the opposite side of your throttle body. ( It bolts on the intake with two allen screws ).

You also should check for codes. Just to make sure there is no information just waiting for you.

Check the wires behind the intake (near the ground strap - there are 2 or 3 bundles of them wrapped up there) to make sure none are frayed and grounding out on the body. My friend's 89' was fine until it warmed up, and whenever it made a left hand turn while warm it would stall - 1 of those wires would touch the body only when the car turned left and the subframe shifted slightly :nut: .

Thanks for the help and ideas, im going to check them tonite, but i also found that my sound system was drawing to much power and that was causing the car to stall while braking and turning. My C.E.L. is still on though, so im going to check out the wiring tonite also.

Also, your oxygen sensors could be toasted and need replaced!

My car would stall at stop lights, and when I changed my O2 sensors...NO PROBLEMS SINCE!!!!!!:thumb:
