idle surge?

Hey just wondering if anyone has experienced a slight idle surge under light throttle? I get a little surge and then it seems to smooth out. Also doesn't seem to happen in first or second gear.

Atmosphere derverter diaphragm. The stock bov thing that derverts to itself again. 2 bolt. Pull out. The orange rubber torn. Fairly common. Easy to check

I have the same problem in my recently acquired 2017 ecoboost Police Interceptor sedan. 97,000 miles, from Detroit (Plymouth township). Drove it home to Oregon, and noticed the surging off idle during the trip and since. Local shop pulled plugs, looked new. No codes. Where is the Atmosphere Diverter valve located in the engine compartment? Thanks guys! The mechanics couldn't duplicate (I know, its real hard to start out slooow).
