my sho is haveing a whole bunch of problems well i should say just one big one. my car is studdering like it is miss firing but i replace everything that could cause that and now it is still doing it. what could it be? when i rev it, it sounds like 2 or 3 cylinders arent firing and when i start to go from a stop it studders then goes back to normal operation, also under acceleration it does that. could it be the timing.

ok you said you replaced everything... what is everything? did you do spark plugs and wires? if so ( i did this ) make sure you put the plug wires in the right way on the coil pack?

that's how it should look. I had the same problem... I thought I had too much carb cleaner in my intake from the 60k... but it didn't stop so i rechecked and that was it

Good luck

i'm having this exact problem right now. Even when the problem is occuring the comptuer doens't throw any codes. Also, a Cyl balance test won't work because it advances the timing too much for the problem to occur. First, try HEAVY duty injector cleaner, that helped mine a lot, but didn't stopt eh shaking. i too am looking into a timing belt tensioner issue.

well could it be the timing is off or could it be the computer. this happens when i am starting to go from a stop and continues then when i shift gears it goes away until i give it more gas. i dont know what to do i am about to give up on it if it is something internal on the engine cause i dont have the time nor money to fix it. it is my only means of transportation so.

Make sure the plug powering the coil pack is secure and that the rubber seal is not interfering with the fit of the plug.

And grounds, check the grounds. This is something that's often overlooked, yet can cause all sorts of problems.
