Hello everyone,
My car has been having a hard start problem when the engine is warm/hot for the past 15K miles now and found sometime this past weekend to clean my IAB valve and the passages in the intake that I "thought" was causing the problem. Apparently not, because the problem still exists.
Did I do anything wrong? I did follow the directions from the shotimes website.
My car still has the factory spark plug wires. I do have a new set but I was waiting to do my 60K valve adjustment before I install them. Can that be the problem? If that is the problem, then why is it starting "normally" when cold? I have changed the gas filter and I use premium 93 octane fuel. Should I be using 91 octane for its lower igniting temperature?
