naval aviator: isnt that the v8?

Yes, I'm hoping to get forced air cooling for the back coils. I looked into a shaker setup (which would have been functional) but one they are expensive and it would have shaked back and forth rather than side to side.

I dont care much for the scoops, especially if they are non-functioning.

something doesnt look right with it. I have never been a fan of stick on hood scoops that are non-functional. When I had my Ram, I wanted a scoop and didnt want to pony up the cash for the SRT hood so I bought the same exact scoop (since they are made for the Ram), had it painted and put on, 1 week later, ordered the SRT hood. Stick on scoops should be left to the ricers
sorry

i think the bigest problem is it doesnt look like it belongs...it looks to short. i have seen people put the cowl hood scoopes on that also look to short but i have seen the ones for the 69 camaros look ok becouse the are longer..meaning the extend the tip of the grill to the back of the hood by the windshield..just my opion

I think it looks ok.. Is that a SLO hood?? It helps with the lines if it is a slo hood. I put lumina z-34 vents in one of my hoods, mainly for cooling. Turned out ok I guess, I wouldnt do it again.

I still think it'd look pretty damn good with a few more body mods to kinda take away all of the focus on it. Throw a set of 17"s on there, tint the windows and lower it a bit, and I think it'd look hotter than Jessica Alba on Ecstasy...

IMHO I like the cowl if anything, and I mean anything truely functional.
It's not where your motor takes in air so it looks wrong to me.
I'd take the Z 34 vents over that if they did cool the brakes on track days, or keep the motor cooler but thats what the fan is for. It's like those damn Buick fender vents I'm seeing stuck on every vehicle now. Saw some on a slo Friday, yuch
Customizing to me is what Kirk has done w/ the Gen IV, or Ramones sick Shoya copper monster, not sticking catalog stuff on it. Again just bein honest, and a litle drunk.

I've always been a fan of the slightly cowled hoods w/ heat evacuators.

This is a SN95 unit. I can imagine it looks pretty stout on a race-dressed SHO, but def not one sporting OE right height, bubbly tires on slicers and greenish-blue headlights. (not implying the scooped cars in this post, just in reference to what kinda SHO would pull the look off well)
