ewww... It doesn't look right, but someone had to be the first to try it.

I don't know, I guess it doesn't look horrible. My question, if I may, is just how much did that cost - purchase, mounted molded and painted? Surely for the same or just a few couple dollars more you might've had what you want rather than settling for what you don't.

I'll pass. At least it's not those dual ones that EVERYONE have that have double stick tape on them.

Is it functional? If yes, meh im not a fan but I suppose it's your car. If its not, get that thing off of there asap.

EDIT: I think the SLO hood makes it look better then it would on a SHO hood though, I was always a fan of the SLO hood on a SHO.

I like it. It matches the body color. But I like hood scoops in general so I guess I'm biased.

oh I like the scoop, but I think it looks wrong on the taurus body. IMO the SHO is not meant to look "badass" its a sleek streamline sedan, that is supposed to look "nice" at best. I will say that the cowl hood is nice though, it does go with the body lines very well.

I think I beat you to the punch. I had mine on around 3 months ago same color I just dont have the front license plate on mine. I on the other hand did cut a hole in my hood to make it functional for cooling purposes and just need to find a nice insert to make it functional.

What scoop did you use. It appears to be a little different than mine which is a aftermarket mustang scoope.

i did all the work myself ... so $98 in the whole pluse i had all my paint already ... as aposed to $500 for the cowel ...

I would NOT make that functional. But IMHO, it doesn't look all that bad, and I've seen much worse. :thumb: for trying somthing new!

Not bad... It looks like it wants to look mean. Add some 17's and lower it a little and it would look better. Nice job on being different. The SLO hood does make it look better than if you had used the SHO hood. :thumb:

I don't know...........it makes something look too round in the front of the car........still don't know............what does it look like close up? How is it fastened to the hood?

i don't think that it looks too bad, but it is just the fact that the rest of the car is so stock that the hood kinda throws me for a loop!!! it would probably make a world of difference if you tinted the windows and maybe dropped it and sported some wheels! just my $.02.....

Should have put that $98 toward saving for the cowl.

I have an extra, brand new never used. Has an imperfection in the weave design on the cowl part, would work perfect if you were to paint the hood. If you were local I'd sell it to you. No way I'm up to ship a c/f hood.
