I like the two-tone, but I don't like the intense contrast between the red & black. It's too gradual on my eyes. If the theme was darker, it'd be hot! Like a maroon-ish color on a glossy black. Yummy! Also, I think the rockers, along w/ the bumper "spoiler", in black as well would add to tones..

Then again, a mint black paint job is more than good enough for my taste.. aahh, so picky! :nut:

I originally thought of it with a silver gen1. The body lines in the gen1 are alot more straight.

That's pretty awesome....my wife wanted me to do that with my silver one...make the top half of the car satin black...with black slicers....I didn't really go for it, but after seeing it on the red, that's kinda hot.

****, she's gotta be. This winter when the 92 was actin up and I was considering the possibility that I might consider selling her (yes, you read that right), the wifey smacked some sense into me and told me to go work on my car.

I love my wife.

Oh yeah, the blue 94 in my sig is hers, but she REALLY wants a 3rd gen....something about comfort or something.

personally, I think she wants a V8.....especially since I snuck up behind her and a late 90s Mustang GT at a light and she pounced off the light....GT started to pull on her and I stepped in to defend honor of wife AND car....emberassed that GT driver.

Have you driven a GenIII...It wouldn't do that. They are the slowest of the SHO's stock for stock. :thumb: ;)

Dude..it's for the wife and kids. It may be slow, but it's a helluva lot more comfy as far as ride quality than my 92 or her 94......

....it also sounds better with Flowmasters.....

And besides, I'm the racer of the family. She said she wouldn't have done it if I weren't behind her.

Anywho, back to the question.....what do y'all think of a BOSS 3.2 graphics package?

What year Boss stripes are you thinking of? I think the '69's C-stripe would work better than the '70 hockey stick.

Either, for me anyway, is a little flashy. I'd think that they'd be hotter with a true ghost airbrush job, the pearl would make it pop at the right angle but me subtle at others.

Actually, that hockey stick stripe is exactly what I was thinking of. The one that goes up the front fender and onto the hood.

And I'd love to do a good ghost graphic on there, but that kind of work is a helluva lot more expensive than even really good vinyl (especially, since the wife's uncle owns a sign shop....got a lot of neon off him when I had my Ranger).

:thumb: K, since you put it that way, I won't.

So now what do I do...I wanna do SOMEthing. I love my rustless paint job on my SHO, but I wanna cover it in SOME sort of graphic, preferably not ***....

If I'm not mistaking, Ford racing put out a version of the SHO for track and rally events. They made a sticker/decal package for the Gen 2 that looks pretty sweet. I've seen the actual car on the highway with the same package. I would go to a local decal/sticker maker and see if they can look it up if your interested.

I think the stripes would look pretty good, but I'm not a fan of the "Boss" stuff... reminds me too much of everyone that likes to put SVT crap on their SHO's when they were not part of the SVT line. I've always thought that silver cars look good with a darker, sort of gunmetal/charcoal color gray accent. Do the stripes darker and paint the wheels to match. :thumb:

I am not big fan of graphics, but I thought this Taurus graphic looks good, but the wing would have to go.
