Well, the engine rebuild starts tomorrow. Picked up an engine crane at Harbor Freight (yay for 15% coupons!) to get it out of the car.

Tomorrow and Monday are all about getting the engine out, and removing the rotating assembly to get the block to the machine shop for it's clean up.

If anyone wants to swing by and help or shoot the shit or whatever, just give me a shout on here or my cell (PM for cell). I took the week off to get this done, hopefully it'll be enough time!

im upstate NY... near Albany.. but my fiancee was born in queens and raised in Amityville Long Island... so we got family down in the queens area, wishing there was some people up closer to me with SHO's! I'd be down for a meet though either way

haven't made a post in a year or so probably;..anyways: i am located out on the island(long island, Massapequa) guess i'll be the first to update this post since march, and hopefully May will bring the warmer weather! so many places to choose LI is preferably better, more scenic, less ***-holes!!! parkways...any one of a number of ports (Port Washington, Port jefferson) the beaches, Ocean Parkway, Wantaugh Xpwy etc................LET ME KNOW WHAT ANYONE THINKS! am open to suggestions as well. give me a post

Bellmore (Long Island Car Show)

May begins the Bellmore LI. car show!! Every friday night at the Bellmore train station off Sunrise HWY. in Bellmore going on May-Sept, Oct. weather permitting. [Starts: (3pm-12am.) or until you get bored.] Serious enthusiasts come early as close to or before 5pm as possible parking is ample but fills quickly!!! (lasts beyond midnight especially as summer approaches) Also, there are Beach cruise nights on Ocean Pkwy, near OakBeachInn (jones beach) (cedar beach) that area. All EVENTS FREE TO THE PUBLIC AT ALL LOCATIONS!!!
