Hub/knuckle question-do i have upgrades already?

I went to put some good rotors off of my 90 parts car on my 93...and they wouldnt fit over the hub i thought 89-93 were supossed to be interchangable, but the rotor would not fit over the center of the hub. Does this sound like i may have 94-95 knuckles on my 93 already? This car had a LOT of modfications on it when i got it...so it wouldnt be too suprising

NOPE. THey are not interchangeable.

As stated, the center hole is bigger on the 93 hubs. About identifying a possible upgrade,,stock 89 thur 93 front knuckles have large "tabs" that physically prevent larger rotors. Those calipers are attached with Torx bolts. The 94/95 knuckles have 2 regular bolts that attach the caliper to a bracket, and 2 more bolts that attach the bracket to the caliper. The 89 thru 93 rotors are about 10",,the 94/95 are 11" rotors. If it's aftermarket stuff, I don't know.

Thanks! looks like i just have the stock hubs when the rotors wouldnt fit, i thought i was onto something but the lack of a separate caliper bracket means i definetly do not have 94/95 stuff. oh

89 through feb. of 91 are interchangeable. The hubs were switched for the rest of 91 and were used until 94 (I think...or was it 95?)
