Launch boost is pretty sweet, seems like some potential for improving 1/4 mile & 60ft times. Shifted some torque to the rear which seemed to help get the car going with less front wheel hop. Can't wait to play with this some more.

Not sure what the limits of the clutch pack in the RDU is, but it's likely not high enough for that 70/30 split as it currently sits. But, we'll never know until someone tests the limits of these components. And maybe there's a viable option to beef up the rear that we haven't discovered yet...

Quick question, possibly a 'dumb' one, but I'm hoping I'm on the right track.

First off, aware that in comparing AWD systems in the '17 XSport and '16 SHO ... XSport's is clearly more intelligent and with torque split readout.

So I always go to Sand mode when driving the wife's XSport.

But then, after also researching our Haldex AWD system, realized in my non-PP model that turning the TC off may most closely approximate that Sand mode. I think.

That said, as I'm not driving like VIR is my daily commute & every trip is a time trial, TC-off safety considerations are a non-issue. Thinking, "Just give me more balanced grip; I'll keep it out of the ditch, thank you very much, Ford."

And I do believe, as with the XSport, the difference in traction change is noticeable ... along with some improvement in steering feel. More communicative, or something like that; previously nonexistent torque steering even more invisible.

So, while not going to question the differences felt behind the wheel, in your experience, what are you thoughts?

On the right track ... or delusional?

Additional comments welcome. But please be nice to me.

I'm kidding. :)
