How to get turbo spool sound?

I already have a Borla cat-back exhaust and I like it but would like to get more turbo spool noise out the exhaust. Similar to the ol’ neon srt-4.
I am in Commifornia so I can’t remove the cats. Hoping that’s not the only way.

I have posted links here with and without resonator and 3rd cat, no dp cats, and my final removing of all cats including 3rd and stock resonator.

Mostly people ask for the turbo dump to atmosphere, spool thru exhaust with everything I have seen online and have personally done, best with no DP cats 3rd cat and stock resonator.

Oh I got the blow off valve adapters so I got the swoosh sound. Looking for more of The spool sound coming out of the exhaust. Similar to the neon srt4 and lil Alfas

Good luck - search for my posts and listen to my recordings, I watched some YT vids and mine sounds close. Ours will be a bit more throaty since it's a 6.

Mine sounds like Sonic spooling it’s cool I can hear it all the time

Unfortunately downpipes are the only way to get the spool sound more pronounced. When I had just the mufflers replaced with vibrant resonators you could hear it at idle and that's pretty much it. Intake creates a suction sound, blow off valve adapters give you the release sound. Can you install exhaust cutouts? Maybe if you install post cat you can get some spool sound. Im surprised you even have an exhaust like that in your state, the Borla system can get pretty loud.

I had the spinny boy sound out my exhaust. I had high flow cats on high flow down pipes and a blow through muffler. Kept the pipe as large as possible as the wat out the back. This means I had to run a oval pipe under the car for clearance.
