How many teeth/degrees off before valves hit the piston?

Hmmmm, well whatdoyaknow. I always thought it was an interference engine. Well thats good news.

My next question/statement is on the crank pulley...if you are turning the engine over clock wise, its the second indicator (the left one) on the pulley that you use as a reference for TDC, correct? And the first one is used for checking spark timing. First meaning the one to the right.

If you are looking at the crank pullie and the cam sprockets (this would be of course with all the covers off and the timing belt exposed, there are dots on the cam sprockets and crank that are to be matched up with the hash marks on the plate behind them. Easy to set the timing dead nuts on.

I was just hoping for a quick answer because Im having a B***h of a time removing the pulley. Ill get it though, conveinently the intake bolts are the same thread size as the threaded holes in the pulley. Makes the job much easier.
