As the title suggests how bad is it to use loktite on the pressure plate bolts? I used it on the flywheel bolts but no where in the clutch replacement how to does it say to do this. I'm almost to the point of bolting the subframe back up and dont want to have to line the input shaft back up. They are torqed but no locktite.

Were the bolts new or used?

Can you get to them through the starter? Can't recall if they are blind on the stock flywheels

If they were new bolts, they might have had loc-tite on them from the factory. If not, I'd get in there and replace them with new bolts, making sure that loc-tite is used.

You can replace them one at a time and not have to worry about lining the input shaft back up.

how bad is it? Ever see a TOB completely chew through ALL the PP fingers? And the PP try to scribe through the case? Blue loctite in star pattern with 2 torque stages. ;)
