Hey guys, Installing new struts in the front. Dropped the driver side strut and discovered the camber plate flopping around. The tabs appear to have been bent out a smidge, but all the spot-welds have sheared. It's been a minute since I worked on the front suspension, and I don't remember if it was loose then. The passenger side plate looks secure.

Is this an issue? Looking around just now, I've seen people claiming to deliberately cut their plates free. Is it in my best interest to have that plate secured? Does it matter? I'm not sure.
Thanks in advance.
p.s. I'm taking this thing to an alignment shop this week, to have the subframe adjusted. I assume they'll have the capability to weld the plate in place once everything is straightened out. Does it seem reasonable to just clean up the surfaces, install the new parts, and let them handle the camber plate?
