okay, my brakes were grinding because the pads were gone and the caliper or remaining parts of pad was digging into the rotors. so i replaced the pads and rotors and it is still grinding and i cant find what is grinding but it sounds like a frikken jet landing on my hood everytime i touch the brakes. if anybody knows it would help, otherwise im buying an 89 sho today and forgeting about the 95. thanks a lot

Where is the grinding coming from? One brake? All brakes? Front? Back? Which pads and rotors did you replace?

With a noise like that, there has to be evidence on the rotor indicating where the contact point is. You'll have to take a better look at your brakes. Since you replaced the pads and rotors, the problem must be something else. Did you check for wheel bearing play?

I've had hard, race compound type (metallic/bronze) pads make noise like that. They grip like no tomorrow, but are wicked on rotors.
