Hood idea (Cobra R)

I always thought using

as a hood skin would look amazing. With these custom CF hoods beng made I couldnt see why this couldn't be done. I think that hood would look amazing on a 1st Gen, like a Plus hood on crack.

Might be a little tall, and Ford wouldn't be as upset as I have been loosing 3 diff pins (this ones welded thank god).

Thing is, I honestly don't think that hood would look right on a roundish car. The 99-04 Stangs are a box, where as Gen 2 SHO's aren't really boxy and gen 3's like driving and oval. But the Gen 1 is a box on wheels.

Hardest part would be finding someone that has one of those hoods to donate for the mold.

I think it would look pretty good on both Gen I and II. But I agree ... .useing ****s design they would cry copyright infringement.,

Compared to the gen 1 the gen 2 has a much more round front end and back bumper.

I don't see how they could say anything about copyright becaue the hood wouldn't share dimensions or platforms.
