WHy would cold weather make for worse gas mileage? One of my SHO's gets abour 22 traveling @ 75-80, and I know it is running a bit rich. I expect 26+ after all tuning, and this is for a highly modified SHO. You should expect 28-30 for a well maintained, normally driven (keep your foot out, average highway speed of 70 or so) SHO. Even with your foot in it and lots of city driving, 22-24 should be the norm.

Have you replaced the ECT?? A bad ECT made my car run very rich, I only was able to get about 280 miles per tank, now I can get about 450. I went from Albequerque, NM to Phoenix, Arizona on one tank and still had about 2-3 gallons left in the tank.

I wondered about the cold weather as the temp gauge barely registered anything on the drive home. That was dureing interstate travel, in town in warmed up to the letters A and L but once I hit interstate again it went right back down. I just chalked it up to the bitter cold but I've ordered a new thermostat and ect so I'll let you know what happens.
