This is going to be a long shot... in the dark... with a blindfold...

I purchased a Steel Blue 2010 Taurus SHO non-pp but EVERY other option with the exception of NAV in Manassas, VA at Battlefield Ford January of 2015. The original owner purchased it from Freedom Ford in Norfolk, VA in October of 2009... The next owner purchased it from Purvis Ford in Fredericksburg, VA in June of 2012...

Somewhere along it was upgraded with Borla catback exhaust, cross drilled/slotted rotors, and a AirAid intake. Just curious if there was anything else done to this car I may not be aware of that I maybe able to capitalize on?

Reason I ask is I purchased an Unleashed tuner from Torrie along with plugs, t-stat, 3bar map sensor, and curious if there was anything else done the car I may not be aware of? Normally I wouldn't care however there are two things that stand out....exhaust has some custom work up to the flex pipes. Whoever did the work, it appears cut the flanges off the stock setup, and welded pipes right up. Additionally I purchased the car with only 35K on it which I think would be a little soon to have all four corners replaced with drilled/slotted rotors..

Any ideas would be great!!

2010-2012 SHOs had weak brakes so its not unheard of to have all pads/rotors replaced before 35K , which is actually when I replaced all my pads and rotors. Good luck with the search; this is a good place to start!

Thanks Hebes, good to know! I have read that the brakes were shotty those years... The brakes are still weak IMHO... I am not sure what pads were put on, or even which brand of rotor was used... Slotted and cross drilled don't buy you much.. but they do look good :)

Nice! That's a rare color for 2010, only 301 were made.
Sounds like everything is ready to go for a tune. Be sure to change all the fluids.
If you can get a dealer to tell you, check to see what TSB's were applied. Hopefully most of them were done and you'll have no annoyances.
If you can, bring it to the Ford Nationals in Carlisle, PA!

Soooo in short none of the TSBs were applied according to the dealership I work with. I have had the car for about a year and went ahead and replaced everything but PTU and rear diff.... At this point it's out of warranty and TSBs costs money...

Wish I could join you all in PA but with travel for work any additional time away from the family is painful.
