I got a good dealon my SHO due to having 165k and tomorrow I'm getting the oil changed, getting those colder range plugs that everyone suggests if your gonna mod (the motorcraft sp -534s gapped at .30 and they suggested I do the fuel injection cleaning system for an extra $200. U guys think it's worth it?

For 200 I hope they are sandblasting the valves or and taking the injectors out testing the spray pattern and ohms

Ford does not recommend it for these cars. The "right" way is to remove the heads.
If it ain't broke don't fix it for this. Change the oil regularly and run good gas.

Yup, media blasting is the only real way to get rid of buildup at high mileage. Better to be on a routine maintenance program from the beginning if you want to prevent the buildup. A boroscopy should be performed first to determine the extent of and the nature of said deposits. Then only can risk and correct process be determined.

Of course, there's the METH option.
