High Idle

I have a high idle problem after the car is warm and I put it in park... it gradually climbs to 3000 rpm's and holds...

what is the fix for this...????

You need to replace the TPS connector with the one in the high idle service kit that's spec'd in the TSB that covers the problem. Google it over at http://www.v8sho.com and you should find the TSB pretty easily.

My car did the same thing , i replaced something called a SCCR. (its been about 6 months ago, i forgot the exact name)

This units works like a carb set up i was told.

Its a small black box.

After replaced, it does not do it.

That would be the IMRC.

YEs that's it , dont know where i got an SCC something.
