HELP!!! VERY annoying HUMMMMMMM noise in engin bay!!

Ok, this vry annoying hmmmmmmmm is in my ngine bay, it wasnt so loud at first, but it has gotten prety loud.. it seems to be comming from the maste cylendar thing, or in the area of the throttle body, and back... any ideas??? OH, its only at idle when the car is rather warm..

just a thought but maybe it's just the suction from air being sucked in through the filter. my bro's makes the same noise.

Check out the fuel pump. Like go take the cap off and see if the sound is louder in there...It tends to "travel" to the engine bay..

That's a tough one to tell without hearing it. I'm inclined to think it's more of a vibration since you only hear it at idle.

Any change in drivability, or is it just a noise?

You removed your secondary horns, maybe it's more noise coming from them not being present??

I dont know what that is but I think mine probably makes the same noise and Once I put it in gear it will go away.Ohh Well

There is no drivability difference, Its not the horns, because it did ibefore I took off my intake, so that excludes the inake as well.. heres another stumper to the noise... While the car was running I poped the top of the airbox off, and put my ear into the top (by the MAF) on the inside of that box, and the noise got EXTREMELY louder.. so its comming from inside that tube somewhere.
