Help! Stupid rear endlink
Ok so I finally got the old rear endlink off, that was fun to say the least figuring the bottom half of the old endlink had gone missing, bushings and all.. not to mention the fact you can't fit anything in there to get the top bolt!
In order to get the swaybar to drop enough to get the old endlink out I removed the bolt that holds the swaybar bushing on, seemed simple enough..
But here comes the problem, once that new endlink gets put in, its impossible to get that swaybar bushing back in the hole and then push it back up so it can be screwed back in.
So what the **** am I supposed to do? I gave up for the night as I'm exhausted from being the police academy all day and this all night. I obviously have to reinstall the swaybar bushing back first, but then how can I lower the actual swaybar enough to get the endlink to drop back in the hole then?
I tried pushing down on the swaybar, not much luck there. I don't even want to mess with the strut (I assume I could try to slide the knuckle down on the strut and make more room)
Maybe I'm tired and just missing something, but this sure seemed like an easy job.
I have to have this done by 2pm tommorow so I can get to work because my car is in the shop.
So please anyhelp in detail would be GREATLY appreciated at this point!
