I just finished replacing the timing belt, crank sensor, and cam sensor on my 93 MTX. Started her up and life was grand. She shounded fantastic and ran perfect.

I goosed the gas and the CE light came on. Just like it did before I replaced the crank sensor. I shut her off to scan it, and got 211 which is PIP signal ( crank sensor ) and 20 ( No value or meaning. )

Here is the next thing now I have a no start and the CE light will go out immediatly following my turning the key on. I thought that she used to stay on as long as the car was not running.

I almost think that my computer went bad.

I need her to run, help.

Ok, so I gapped the CPS. Now I know. And now she runs.

Only one question remains. I have some ticking over there. Seems to be getting more quiet the longer it runs. And I taking off some of the crank sensor? I am a little lost.

Also, I do have the top two timing covers off, just to make sure all is happy in there.

Thanks

Mike
