I bought my 2011 SHO with 79k. At 110k, I replaced the EPAS as steering failed. Cost was about 2000. At 115k, it overheated when the internal water pump failed, dumping all of the water into the block. I bought a new engine from Fraser Engines. The new motor has an upgraded oil pump and an upgraded water pump. While the engine was being replaced, I replaced the Turbochargers as well. The lower control arms, struts and strut mounts have been replaced as well. Here's my question:
The book value of my car is about 10k, but with 6000 miles on the new motor (the new motor has a 5 year unlimited mileage warranty) and the new EPAS, I think that I should be able to get more. The body is straight with no damage beyond minor dings. The interior is great. I'd like to sell it to get a truck, but I don't know how to figure the value. Any help would be welcomed.

You will be rewarded for having the new engine with new turbos and water pump.

The repaired steering and new suspension components will not affect the value.

You will not recover the total amount spent on the repairs / renewals.

You will have to market the car yourself to find the small cluster of buyers who will acknowledge the value of the enhancements. The general population will not understand the peace of mind that the new turbos and water pump provides.

When you add money to the book value of your 2011 model, it puts you in direct competition with newer models that have better information systems and more features provided by the re-vamped 2013 divide.

10k would be about my guess for private party but for trade in I would expect to hear 6k-7k tbh. The price on the 13+ are dropping like flies. With the car being 9ish years old banks will start looking at them harder when approving financing.

Those upgrades will make it more attractive to potential buyers over any other 2010-2012 models but in my opinion, people would go for the 2013+ if your asking price gets close to whatever those are going for.
