Help Me Please

I have a 93 ATX and my tranny just went...i have $500 to my name and I was wondering if anyone can donate or very cheaply sell me an ATX pref. out of a 94-95...the most i can afford is $50-75 as the labor and fluids for the swap are $425...Please help me One SHOwner to another...

Your best bet is to buy a used tranny and hope someone will help you install it, because nobody will sell a working trans for 50-75 bucks unless they need drug money or something

well my fellow MN SHO members don't seem to keen to wanna help me install... alls i'm saying is i have $500 i need to get my car running soon tho... if they werent such a bitch to install or i knew what i was doing i would do it...

i can get an ATX at a U Pull for $95 but i dunno how to pull it lol...any help there would be appreciated too...

it really isnt that hard to change it... pretty much bolt off, bolt on, make sure you know where everyting goes and torque specs

Except it weighs like 150lbs. It would be a big job for someone who doesn't work on cars much.

i suppose... i'd just use a jack... idk i did a MTX and it wasnt that hard... i suppose it weighs alot less though too

well how far does anyone live from superior...i live an hour north of duluth mn...would anyone be willing to help...or can any of you locate a cheap transmission for me...any help

I'd help but I don't have my license right now.. So if anyone around here ends up helping you, I'll give you a hand. You'll need to rent an engine hoist though if you don't have a engine support.

my predicament is the labor end of the deal...i can get the transmission just need the help with it...if i cant get the help...then i need to find a cheap transmission and the labor at a shop will be $400+ fluids...
