Update, this is unusual, but while trying to replace something else under the car me and my brother noticed that my K&N filter was very loose. And it wasn't just loose, it was completely off and flopping around! I think this was part of the problem. I think the K&N was getting sucked into the fender snorkel and the engine was stumbling to get air. The problem hasn't come back yet. After reattaching the K&N the power seems good so far. I tried turning the key a few times like you said Scott and it gave a normal whine from the fuel pump. The rumbling was coming from the engine itself, like it couldn't completely startup but wouldn't stall either. It still could be a catalytic converter issue, the Y-pipe's almost 3 years old. Thanks for the ideas guys.
Something people should know, the K&N filter on the SS intake needs to be checked every so often, cause it can come off (unless I'm an extremely unlucky person). I think we caught it just in time but it could've turned the car into a vacuum cleaner. eek!
